Co-Opted Committee Members

In addition to regular board meetings, English Rural’s governance arrangements also benefit from an Audit and Risk Committee and a Finance and Resources Committee, enabling some core areas to be covered by Board Members in greater detail. The following co-opted committee members sit on our Audit & Risk and Finances & Resources Committees.

Alistair Nappin, Independent Member

Al Nappin has worked within exposure management, modelling and analytics in the insurance and reinsurance industries for 16 years in both London and New York.  He currently works as Catastrophe Risk Manager for the Munich Re Syndicate in London and has an MSc in Geophysical Hazards from UCL.
