Salary: £48,948
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsible to: Resident Services Director
Pension entitlement: Company Stakeholder Scheme
Annual leave entitlement: 30 days per annum
Place of work: Based at English Rural’s Surrey office in Lower Eashing with some travel required

About English Rural:

English Rural Housing Association is a leading national rural specialist working to provide affordable homes in small villages for local people. We own and manage around 1,250 affordable properties, spread amongst 150 villages, and have a development programme of around 200 more homes. The Association has a main office in central London with all service activity delivered from a separate office in Lower Eashing.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our newly created customer services team with the management level role focused on delivering high-quality services to residents. Working under the leadership of the Resident Services Director, this role will lead the customer services team responding to residents, embedding a culture of customer excellence through a hub model. The management role will collaborate closely with technical and housing specialists to evolve and deliver comprehensive processes necessary to secure business ambitions. Often working at pace and balancing competing demands, the role requires someone who will inspire and lead a small, dedicated team.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record in working and successfully delivering a broad operational service, ideally in a housing association or property related environment. You will need effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate and work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Experience in achieving excellent levels of customer service is essential. The right candidate will have sufficient skills, knowledge, and expertise, either from a formal qualification or direct experience.
