English Rural Appoints New Development Director

English Rural is thrilled to announce the appointment of Richard DeVille as its new Development Director. Richard will succeed English Rural’s long-standing Development Director, James Taylor, who will retire in March 2022.

Commenting on the new hire, English Rural’s Chief Executive, Martin Collett said:

Martin Collett“Richard is an exceptional addition to the Development Team and brings a wealth of experience to the role. He will be instrumental in driving forward our plans to deliver even more affordable rural homes that the country desperately needs.

While our development programme has continued to grow under the experienced and capable leadership of James Taylor, I’m thrilled that Richard will be joining the team to take forward our ambitious plans. I’m excited at what Richard and the team will achieve in the coming years.”

Prior to his appointment at English Rural, Richard worked as Head of Development for Hightown Housing Association and with Enfield Council as Housing Zone Programme Manager.
