Construction of the “Village Homes” scheme in the historic village of Wickham Bishops took a further step forward with the appointment of locally based building contractors, Borrowdale Homes Construction Ltd, who will build the new homes being provided by ER.
The scheme includes a mix of properties and tenures, in particular, bungalows for older people wishing to remain in this popular and sought after village. Alison Thompson – Regional Development commented “ This new development truly offers ‘Something for Everyone’ with priority given local people on all tenures and will undoubtedly help sustain local services.”
Work is scheduled to commence in May 2016. Anyone interested in applying for the homes should register their interest with us and also be sure to register on the housing list held by Maldon District Council.
