Addressing Rural Housing Needs Through Collaboration

The Sussex Rural Affordable Housing Partnership (SRAHP) unites key stakeholders to increase affordable housing options in rural Sussex communities. This initiative builds upon the enabling work of Action in Rural Sussex, bringing together diverse expertise to tackle housing challenges.

Partnership Members:

  • South Downs National Park Authority
  • Local Authorities: Wealden, Rother, Chichester, Horsham, Lewes, Mid Sussex, and Arun
  • Homes England
  • East Sussex Association of Local Councils
  • West Sussex Association of Local Councils
  • Registered Housing Providers

SRAHP’s Mission:

  1. Foster strong partnerships
  2. Provide a forum for discussing rural housing issues
  3. Share best practices and innovative solutions
  4. Address local concerns and broader themes affecting rural affordable housing delivery
