English Rural CEO to Chair Session at Rural Housing Conference 2019

Our CEO, Martin Collett, will be chairing a session at the National Housing Federation’s Rural Housing Conference 2019 ‘Partnering with CLTs to deliver rural homes’

Working closely with communities is vital to successful delivery in rural areas and this is something that both English Rural and Community Land Trusts have real strengths in. This workshop will look at successful partnerships between the two and explore the best practice and learnings from these experiences.

The Rural Housing Conference is the highlight of the annual Rural Housing Week. This is the one day of the year when professionals from across the rural housing landscape get together to discuss the topics that matter to housing associations serving rural communities.

This year’s conference will focus on building for rural communities

Discussion topics include:

  • The unique challenges of building rural homes
  • Delivering the new homes that rural communities need
  • Ensuring that existing homes continue to meet the standards of rural communities

Join the debates on the latest policy developments affecting your organisation, and find practical solutions to your challenges by attending hands-on workshops. This is a unique opportunity to hear from high profile speakers and share views with other rural housing associations and stakeholders. Find out more here.
