English Rural Housing Association (English Rural) announced the successful transfer of engagements (ToE) from The Cambridgeshire Cottage Housing Society (TCCHS) on 1st April 2024. This strategic move has consolidated the long-standing partnership between the two organisations, bringing enhanced services for residents and improved value for money.
The transfer of engagements has allowed English Rural to eliminate administrative duplication, consolidate expertise and resources, and focus on delivering high-quality homes and services to residents across both associations. The move has also strengthened English Rural’s position in Cambridgeshire, enabling the association to better serve the county’s rural communities.
Martin Collett, Chief Executive of English Rural, said:
“We are delighted to have completed the transfer of engagements of TCCHS to English Rural. This move has allowed us to align our shared values and commitment to providing affordable homes in rural areas. By combining our resources and expertise, we can now deliver even better value for money and enhanced services to our collective residents.”
The successful transfer of engagements positively aids English Rural’s growth and development ambitions, reinforcing its position as a leading provider of affordable rural housing in England. The association remains committed to working with local communities, landowners, and partners to create thriving, sustainable rural communities where everyone can access a quality home they can afford.
