Salary: £38,667
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Responsible to: Customer Services Manager
Pension entitlement: Company Stakeholder Scheme
Annual leave entitlement: 30 days per annum plus bank holidays
Place of work: Hybrid contract with regular attendance at English Rural offices in Godalming, Surrey

Closing Date: Mid-day on Thursday 5th June 2025
Interview Date: Tuesday 10th June 2025 (interviews to be held in our Surrey office)

About English Rural:

English Rural Housing Association is a leading national rural specialist working to provide affordable homes in small villages for local people.  We own and manage around 1,500 affordable properties, spread amongst 150 villages, and have a development programme of around 200 more homes.

About the role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work across all areas of resident services provision including customer services, repairs and tenancy management. Ideally suited to someone looking to expand an existing career in housing, this new role will offer the opportunity to collaborate with technical and housing specialists to develop, co-ordinate and manage a range of projects within the team, as well as support the day to day operations of English Rural. Often working at pace and balancing competing demands, the role requires someone with exceptional organisational and project co-ordination skills.

About you:

To succeed in this role, you will have a proven track record working in housing services, ideally in a housing association or property related environment. You will need good communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate and work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisation and time management skills are essential to the success of this role, along with sound judgement and decision making. Experience in achieving excellent levels of customer service are essential. The right candidate will have sufficient skills, knowledge and expertise, either from a formal qualification or direct experience.
